Equestrian Training from Tidmarsh Stud and Fiona Harter

Tidmarsh Stud trainer Fiona Harter is a Group 2 British Dressage Rider and has been a listed Dressage Judge for 27 years.

Fiona established Tidmarsh Stud in 1988 and initially she ran the business as a licenced Quarantine and Livery Yard providing stabling for horses travelling internationally - working with many prestigious clients and importing and exporting  horses around Europe and the USA .

Fiona was trained by John Lasseter at Goodwood and the late Jane Gregory. She has enjoyed success with many different horses, training them to advanced level over the years. Most notably, Fiona achieved success at both Prix St Georges and Intermediare 1 on a very special horse called Balans.

Fiona has taught all levels and ages of riders for over 25 years and her style of teaching is friendly and unassuming. She particularly enjoys helping people with disabilities and has trained people for BHS exams up to Stage 4. Fiona's clients have had success from Prelim to Prix St Georges and at everylevel in between.

Aside from riding, Fiona's other passion is judging - particularly Horse Trials. She was delighted to receive her long service award from Tweseldown Horse Trials, having judged every year there for the last 28 years - although it did make her feel rather old!

Today, Fiona manages Tidmarsh stud as a family run Livery Yard where she lives with her partner Tim and far too many dogs!
